Drawing With Vision – Harold J. Cundy’s Rock Image Recordings on the Columbia Plateau ~ 1927-1936
This event is presented by William Layman, Randy Lewis (Wenatchi/P’Squosa/Methow) and flutist Arnold Cleveland (Wenatchi/P’Squosa). William Layman is author of two books, Native River: The Columbia Remembered (2002) and River of Memory: The Everlasting Columbia (2006). The talk will describe the journeys of Harold Cundy, during the 1920s and 1930s. Harold Cundy documented painted and pecked images of the Plateau people, using his home-grown gift of drawing.
